I was hoping for some deep frost to encapsulate a wintery mood so was up at dawn for the half hour walk towards Shillingford; there was a little frost and the sun performed well streaking through the clouds. These photographs I haven't submitted to Via Michelin. The first, being a panorama, is obviously a large image. The second doesn't really show the vineyard, although it is part of the carpark and the visitor centre is just to the right of the trees, I'm also not sure that (overdone?) HDR photos are of interest to Via Michelin so it resides here. As is the norm clicking the photo should load a larger version.
Incidentally my previous article for Michelin was on Nytimber's Sparkling wines. As a pan-European site the article was translated into French, German, Spanish and Italian. Not by me I should add... there is of course an English version.

Stunning pictures. I'm ashamed to say I didn't know there was a vineyard in Brightwell, though I lived for 10 years just down the road in Wallingford during the 90s.

Not sure how long it has been going but Brightwell Vineyard is on the road out to Shillingford Bridge, not really Brightwell...
