Taken earlier this week; a Slovakian sommelier demonstrating the art of champagne sabrage. No sword or scimitar in sight just, in this instance, a metal jug. This first attempt was successful. Less so the following four times when trying to use various wine and champagne glasses… he really should have stopped after the first!
The wine, while not yer actual champagne, was a rather delightful Slovakian sparkling wine Elesko Demi-Sec.
