I think my stance on visiting stainless steel tanks is well established (although I have to admit that ‘sometimes’ they can be beneficial). At least stainless steel wine tanks have nice shiny exteriors; which can’t be said for their concrete cousins. They are simply blocks of concrete afterall. Even less photographic than steel one would think.

And you would be right; although I was rather taken with the 1930′s stylie of the Sarria tank hall in Navarra, Spain. Hence the subject for this weeks Sunday Wine Shot – Concrete Tanks at Sarria.
