As long as they get the stocks back up for my planned October visit to a German beer festival I don't think this is anything to worry about...

"England's massive army of World Cup fans is drinking Germany dry, it emerged yesterday. Breweries warned beer could run out before the final because of huge demand from our supporters. I heard the same story on NPR about massive beer consumption by soccer (football) fans in Germany. 17 pints per day per person... since some will drink many fewer, presumably a good number of fans are consuming well over 20 pints per day. I hope the German plumbing is in good working order!
