Food Blog AwardsFor the second year running the Well Fed network is hosting the Food Blog Awards - 15 categories where the very best of the food blogging world go head to head in a popularity contest.

Astoundingly, but wonderfully, Spittoon in the Best Drink Blog category while SpittoonExtra has been nominated in the Best Photography section. The competition in both is very strong - hugely popular and well researched or, in the case of the photo section accompanied by superb food images; a vote would be greatly appreciated.

Andrew - congratulations on being shortlisted twice and also for having nominated me. I still have no idea what I've done to deserve being included in the ranks of such great bloggers, but I'm really enjoying it as I'm sure you must be. Cheers, Trig.

Me! In two categories! Astounding isn't.

Really though I dont stand an earthly but am honoured to be included. Your blog though, with its refreshingly different approach to food, always makes me think and consider what I am doing. You come from a different angle - that is what is so refreshing.

Even if you don't win I still read your blog
;-)

Delightful blog you've got here. I'll visit often!

congratulations on being shortlisted twice for running such a good food blog.
