Hi Andy - I really hope that you’ll be able to make some of my tastings this autumn. They are looking really exciting.

For the Riesling tasting we have 3 groups of 4 wines. The first group will range over a number of regions in Germany to shows how Riesling changes with terrior. Then we will have a series of wines from Hermann Doennhoff (Dönnhoff) in the Nahe - all from 2004 but of different ripeness levels. Finally, we will finish with a vertical tasting of wines from Johann Josef Christoffel that are all auslese. Should be incredible!

The Wine & Chocolate matching is also going to be something special. I’ve just teamed up with an innovative chocolatier who has a wonderful range of “grand cru” chocolates. We will have some whites, reds, sweets and bubblies to try with the chocolates to see what we prefer.

Finally, as I’ve always had a very soft spot for Italian wines, the November/December “New Discoveries” tastings will offer some really outstanding wines.

I think they’ll be something special. All the best,

Paula -- The Ultimate Wine Company Ltd 8 Millbank, Mill Road Marlow, Bucks. SL7 1UA
