To celebrate their 25th Anniversary, Kendall-Jackson is launching ‘The Art of Terroir,’ a coffee table book filled with photographs (stating the obvious there for a coffee-table book) giving an insider’s glimpse to their estate vineyards. Kendall-Jackson have 14,000 acres of vineyards in Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino, Lake, Santa Barbara and Monterey Counties in California.
Published by Chronicle Books, this 110-page book features the photography of Kendall-Jackson’s Vice President of Public Relations George Rose, commentary by US wine writer Rod Smith and includes a foreword by Kendall-Jackson founder and proprietor, Jess Jackson.
The result is certain to appeal to wine enthusiasts the world over and short of actually visiting the vineyards in person, ‘The Art of Terroir’, offers the next best way to understanding the philosophy of Kendall-Jackson’s wines. From Kendall-Jackson’s Vintner’s Reserve Chardonnay to Grand Reserve Merlot to Hawkeye Mountain Highland Estates Cabernet Sauvignon, each grape exhibits a flavour directly tied to its terroir.
