Covering more than 300 wineries across the world the newly released (yesterday in fact) book The Wine Travel Guide to the World is authored by Robert Joseph (ex of Wine Magazine, blogger at the RSS-bereft The Joseph Report).

The book provides information on accommodation and restaurants based on their proximity to various visitor-friendly wineries, although the focus is on the vineyards and cellars of the world’s great wineries. A history of each region is included plus, tasting tips, wine recommendations and soil and grape information. The guide includes regional sites and attractions Mainly covering New Zealand, France, Italy, Spain, America, Australia, Portugal, Germany and South America a few of the lesser-known wine producing countries are included; Thailand, Japan and India for example.
