Instant Wine Course screen shotAn email from Christopher Grigg from Taste of the Vine, the wine show company.
We have put together two free online wine courses (the first fully interactive ones) for our clients and want to give it to a wider audience. There are two levels to the course, one is the Instant Wine Course for the beginner and the Complete Wine Course for beginner to intermediate.

The Instant Wine Course contains all you need to become the instant expert!

  • Instant Wine Course Tasting Guide

  • Wine Tasting Toolkit (Your tasting trainer)

  • Wine Library (Logs your tasting notes)

  • Wine Scoring Tool

  • Profiles of Popular Wine Styles

  • Food and Wine Matching Tool

This appears to be aimed at the beginner. The Complete Wine Course however goes further and aims to teach you to

  • differentiate and describe wine like an expert

  • discuss and order wine with confidence

  • save money when purchasing wine

  • reject faulty wines commonly accepted by others

  • match food and wine, and much more besides

Free courses?

Why am I paying $1000 for a course at Boston University Elisabeth Bishop Wine Resource center to to learn about wine just to blog about learning about wine?

Stupid me. At least my course is taught by two Masters. And I'm learning a lot about wine.

Bryan,

The course can be a good reference for you after you finished the course as well as a justifiable course on its own.

Cheers!

Christopher Grigg
