Pouring the red – a restaurant table crowded with the accoutrements of fine dining – bread basket, plentiful cutlery, numerous glasses, candles, the salt cellar and so on. Then the sommelier arrives to pour. In this case a rather tasty Bouchard Finlayson Hannibal 2008 (an interesting South African blend of Pinot Noir, Nebbiolo, Syrah, Mourvedre, Grenache and Cinsault). Taken at the Milestone Restaurant, Kensington, London.

Pouring the red – the latest in the regular Sunday Wine Snapshots series highlighting photographs with a wine related theme, whether bottles, glasses, vineyards or the back scenes of wineries.
