It has been a packed week; one full of wine, delicious food and laughter. While the weather isn’t quite in a full sun-shine mode at least the rain has kept away from this corner of Oxfordshire. It is rosé time of course, with this weeks suggestion being Mirabeau Pure from Provence.

An English couple, Stephen and Jeany, do what many dream, and upped-sticks to the wilds of France to make wine. Their website is one of the few worth following as their videos might just make us all follow them and go make wine…

Stephen then set up a small wine business with the principle objective of making a Provence rosé that would become regarded as one of the best from the region. In order to achieve this aim, he put together a highly experienced winemaking team (French and British) and Mirabeau is now being sold in 6 countries and has already earned acclaim from some of the world’s toughest wine journalists
