Tenuta di Fessina Vineyard Panorama

By Andrew Barrow In Photographs, Vineyard & Wine Travel
Making full use of the centuries of Mount Etnas deposits the vines at Tenuta di Fessina produce some lovely wines. Here, with Mount Etna behind us, we are at 670 meters above sea level with the “sandy soil, rich in texture mixed with volcanic ash, is typical of lava flows”. A panoramic shot of the vines taken during a Circle of Wine Writers tour of Sicily in June 2013.

Tenuta di Fessina Vineyard Panorama this weeks Sunday Wine Shot.
