Domaine de Nizas Label Wine Tasting Note: Domaine de Nizas Coteaux du Languedoc, 2001, Languedoc, France.
£10.95 Mayfair Cellars
A superb red being a blend of 60 % Syrah, 35 %, Mourvèdre and 5 % Grenache noir – a wine that packs a stylish and classy punch. There is plenty happening on the palate – herbs and spices intertwined with black fruits and liquorice with soft but substantial tannins leading into a long finish. This is the estates flagship wine with potential to continue for four or five years.
Scribblings Rating - 92/100
