Like buses; two news tracker/digg services covering wine have launched in the last week. The new netscape has food, drink and travel as one category amongst many while Wine Life Today subject matter is uniquely focused on wine.

Both services allow the submission of news stories and blog posts with users voting on those they feel are most worthy to publicise them on the front page. For those who follow the world of blogs in general will be familiar with digg.com which offers similar functionality but only in the technology arena. For those enjoying the convenience of RSS will be able to subscribe to each service and never miss the latest news and blog posts.

Wine Life Today is slightly different in that blog owners can register their content for automatic inclusion in the listings, something Netscape doesn't do. Netscape has the power of AOL behind it and thus huge resources but Wine Life, with its specific niche has it's attractions too and is similarly worth investigating.
