UK Wine Show screenshotApparently the UK Wine Show is the top wine podcast in the UK iTunes charts. It comes in second to Jamie Oliver's podcast in the larger food category. I have never developed a routine for listening to audiocasts, and feel guilty if I miss Tim's regular shows (Semillon being the latest). Needless to say the UK Wine Show is a new one to me.

The UK Wine Show launched in June 2006 and since then has recorded 24 weekly shows voiced by one Chris Scott. Each show includes an interview with a wine illuminary and global wine news. "We get under the skin of the wine industry to give listeners a good overview of latest trends. If it's about wine we cover it, combining technical information with human-interest stories."

Today's audiocast interviews Oz Clarke (who is about to be seen on BBC TV with the long-haired chap from Top Gear in 'Oz and James's Big Wine Adventure'.

Just wondering why you have taken to calling podcasts "audiocasts"? They, of course, are audio and are broadcast via RSS, but podcast seems to still be the word of choice; at least over here.

Thanks for the mention, link, etc.

Cheers!

I read it somewhere, an American site probably... aah, yes try

http://scobleizer.com/?s=audiocasts

and what Scoble says, goes I feel! ;-)
