Belgian beer brand Vedett has received a label makeover. I took a snap specifically for this weeks Sunday Photo spot but failed to realise that the action is on the BACK label. These back labels illustrate the qualities that make Vedett Extra Blond Beer different – Extra Mature has an image of a blue-rinser, Extra Bubbles has a photo of bubble wrap, Extra Pale a photo of a vampire and so on.

Even more exciting is the possibility on the Vedett website to upload your own image and apply a witty Extra slogan. So I did. OK, so extra ‘arty’ might not be the height of creativity… but it is first thing on a Sunday morning.

Modern day beer drinkers expect their tipple to not only excite their palate, but also stand out from the crowd. So Vedett has designed every bottle to be unique, tongue-in-cheek and tangentially educational. The new labesl feature quirky images that illustrate the six main characteristics that make Vedett a ‘super star beer’.
