A pre-view opening last Thursday let us sample more than just a normal G&T:
Old Tom Fizz – “The Gin and Tonic for kings and queens, this marriage of almond, lime and pink grapefruit, takes this Collins cocktail to a higher plain.”
What a Lovely Waugh – “The tartness of Orange Vinegar is married with Florida orange citrus flavours in the Tanqueray No. Ten, distinctively married with Aperol, cranberries and raspberries. Refreshing to the core”. (Would have been better without the vinegar to be honest)
Finest Ten - “Tea, Tanqueray No Ten. Perfect tonic for the summer evening, charged with sparkling rose and induced with sherry, this long tipple is perfect for sunshine chilling”
Intimate cocktail masterclass sessions, hosted by Tanqueray brand ambassador Tim Homewood, will be held in the Citrus Garden every Wednesday evening inviting guests to learn more about the history of gin, as well as the flavours of Tanqueray No. Ten and the art to creating gin-infused cocktails. The sessions cost £15 per person and will include two cocktails for each guest.
The Vista Lounge Citrus Garden at the Trafalgar is open from now until sometime in October 2014. 2 Spring Gardens, Trafalgar Square, London, SW1A 2TS.
