This is what Tom Warner and Sion Edwards have done from their farms in Wales and Northamptonshire and produced a second run of their famed Warner Edwards Elderflower Infused Gin.
Last year the production sold out in eight weeks. This years batch goes on sale from today.

Before the infusion the Warner Edwards gin is distilled using 11 botanicals: juniper, coriander, elderflower, angelica root, cinnamon, orange and lemon peel, nutmeg, black pepper, cardamom and a secret ingredient.
The Elderflower Infused Gin is available direct (£33) and also from Harvey Nicols, The Whiskey Exchange, Gerry’s of Soho, Cambridge Wine Merchants and the Oxford Wine Company.

The image above isn’t one of mine. I was sent a small sample bottle of the gin with a poor quality label; hardly worth a photograph. The gin itself has a beautifully floral aroma, a subtle Elderflower hue and a weighty palate (due to the sweetness) with an edge of spice and pepper. Cant say I really detected the Elderflower…. but it does make a damn fine G&T with Fever Tree Tonic.
