Two photographs for this weeks Sunday Wine Shot – both taken at the Planeta winery in Sicily. It was a delightful visit as part of a Circle of Wine Writers tour of the island, earlier this year. A fine tasting of the producers extensive range of wines sourced from across Sicily and placed in their location with specific terrior influences superbly. A tour of the winery – yep, stainless steel tanks – included a walk right through a lab area where these two photos were quickly taken.
