Wine Tasting Note:
A-Mano Rosato, 2006, Puglia, Italy.
Gently fruity nose, lovely bright, very pale pink in colour with a surprisingly weighty palate. Unlike several rosés I’ve tasted recently this comes with a bit of ‘grip’, a bit of action and, thank the lord, some flavour! Cherry led fruit with a little bitter twist on the finish.
Conclusion – a rosé for food.
Scribblings Rating – 88/100
