Ravanal Cabernet Sauvignon

Wine Tasting Note: Ravanal Cabernet Sauvignon, 2002, Colchaga Valley, Chile.
Available from Independent Merchants for around £6.
Nice open aroma, blackberries, raspberries top-notes (getting into wine geekdom-speak here, sorry about that) of those squishy red berries you find in the autumn hedgerow. Medium-bodied, sharp red-berry acidity tampers the richness with a nice liquorice-touched fruity finish. 13% alcohol. Screw cap. Full bodied. Worth a try if you see it.
Scribblings Rating - 86/100
